This pilot issue has 30 pages, unlike subsequent issues from number 1 onwards, which will have 90 pages.


TITLE TOPIC
The Toringo crabapple on the cover of this issue is a mature, old bonsai, originally collected in Japan as a yamadori. With its fresh, delicate blossoms, it symbolizes the new beginning of spring, as well as the launch of this English pilot issue of the BONSAI ART magazine, which until then had been published exclusively in German since 1993.
